ABOUT [MEMORY BOX]

This is a Limited Edition, Collector’s Edition, Four Disc Box Set featuring music & lyrics by Chris Treborn, featuring a few of his testimonial songs, and spiritually savvy / scripture based songs.

At first, this project was going to be called “Surgeon For Christ”. After recording about 20 songs Christian decided to split up this project into two albums; “Memory Box” & “Time Capsule”.

[Memory Box] is a collection of beats Christian has been sitting on for quite some time. In addition, he dug out some of the songs that didn’t make it on the OPEN HEART SURGERY project, and even brought out some lyrics from past Mixtapes.

All the instrumentals on [Memory Box] are composed by Chris Treborn for Christian Music Reborn. This album is recorded and mixed by Carl Dudley @ The Shop in Dayton, Oregon.

<a href=”http://treborn.bandcamp.com/album/memory-box-2″>Church Time by Chris Treborn</a>[Memory Box] has two parts to it.The songs from the first part of the album are originally for “Surgeon For Christ”. This portion is mostly about Chris Treborn as a person, and as an artist, and includes testimonies from his life. Part 1 has a Rap-Worship style.

The songs from the second part of the album are comprised from the “Spiritual Savvy” Mixtape. Although the lyrics are somewhat dated, the beats are more recently composed. Part 2 is mostly gospel oriented and has more substance to it. The style is more radio friendly, and recommended for performances.
